October is the month to make every day safe
Health and Safety Month is the time to discuss safety in your workplace. Hear from industry experts who are leading the way in mental and physical wellbeing, and make sure you are up to date with industry best practice to keep your workplace safe year round.
Seminars will be held across the state on a range of topics including the safety of young workers, an international perspective on health and safety, what to expect during a workplace inspection, OHS issues for small businesses, drugs and alcohol in the workplace, occupational violence, workplace bullying and quad bike safety.
Where will we be?
Our state-wide program kicks-off in Geelong (5 October) before heading to Hamilton (9 October), Port Fairy and Warrnambool (10 October), Ballarat (11 October), Bendigo (12 October), Horsham (13 October), Swan Hill and Wangaratta (18 October), Echuca (19 October), Shepparton (24 October), Morwell and Wodonga (26 October) and finishing in Melbourne on 1 November.
There will also be several events across metropolitan Melbourne and a one-day conference dedicated to the needs of Health and Safety Representatives (31 October).
